SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME
Schools Partnership Programme
Leeds Grand Theatre & Opera House Ltd offers an extensive Learning provision for primary and secondary schools. Delivering the best outcomes for children and young people our programme uses the rich resource of City Varieties Music Hall and Leeds Grand Theatre to engage learners and support key priorities such as attendance, raising standards and aspirations.
Our Schools Partnership Programme offers the opportunity for schools to build a meaningful partnership with the city’s historic and much loved theatres. The programme provides a range of curriculum-focused activities throughout the year such as tours, workshops and enterprise projects. Teachers will have access to an online Teachers’ Forum to share experiences, an annual Continuing Professional Development event and a dedicated member of the Learning Team to support with project planning.
Partner Schools will benefit from a personalised, creative programme of engaging, curriculum-focused activities which challenge students to tackle real-world situations and think creatively. Our practical approach increases students’ motivation for learning, raises aspirations and builds self-confidence.
Our Schools Partnership programme offers a great opportunity to apply your pupil premium grant or target other learners such as pupils that are gifted and talented, have English as an additional language or are at risk of becoming NEET. Activities can be tailored to ensure that the needs of your pupils are fully met.
